A Minnesota Rapper Joined Greta Thunberg At Protests — Then He Came Home With A Message For White Americans

”.

According to The Blaze, the Minnesota-based performer, whose real name is Rafael Gonzalez Jr., recently traveled to Saint-Denis, a suburb of Paris, where he joined climate activist Greta Thunberg at protests outside a high school. There, he led chants of “f**k ICE” and “ICE out” and performed his track “No One Is Illegal,” aligning himself with the radical open-borders movement that rejects national sovereignty and immigration enforcement.

Upon returning to the United States, Gonzalez took to Facebook with a lengthy call for escalation, insisting that Americans must abandon restraint and embrace street-level agitation. “After returning home from France I can clearly see how we need to become far more radicalized in the states,” he wrote, adding, “We have to be more enraged. Our comfort is hindering our progress.”

Gonzalez went further, explicitly racializing his appeal and placing the burden of unrest on white Americans. “It really and truly needs to be white people that go outside and raise hell if we want to see revolution,” he declared, before denouncing moderates on the left: “There are far too many neoliberals that are just as bad as the fascists.”

He praised the French protest culture as a model to emulate, suggesting that Americans must escalate beyond mere demonstrations. “The French have figured this out a while ago. Now it’s time to take it to the next level. Go f**k s**t up white people. It’s your time,” he concluded, openly glorifying chaos as a political tool.

Conservative commentator Glenn Beck, reacting to the post, ridiculed the 40-year-old’s belief that rioting and destruction are pathways to progress. Beck quipped that under such a strategy, “We’re going to have a teacher who shows up in a classroom we just burned down,” highlighting the self-defeating nature of burning communities in the name of “justice.”

Gonzalez’s rhetoric, Beck argued, echoes the dangerous revolutionary fervor of the 20th century’s darkest movements. Gonzalez’s rallying cry reminds Glenn of Hitler’s 1933 speech in which he said, “Don’t talk to me about victory. This isn’t victory. Victory only comes after war.”

“There is a whole book that is written about this particular speech and about how he wrote it because he was nuts. ... Kind of like this,” Beck added, drawing a direct line between Gonzalez’s radicalization talk and the unhinged fanaticism of totalitarian ideologues. As for Gonzalez’s insistence that “white people” must lead the unrest, Glenn retorted, “I thought all white people were bad.”

Beck then seized on Gonzalez’s complaint that “there are far too many neoliberals that are just as bad as the fascists,” noting that the activist left inevitably turns on its own. “I told you they're going to come and eat you. They are going to eat you, my friend,” Glenn laughed, underscoring his long-standing warning that radicals will eventually devour the so-called moderate left.

Reading Gonzalez’s line that “‘The French have figured this out a while ago,”’ Beck dryly replied, “Yes, they did when they pulled the guillotines out.” That historical reference underscored the conservative concern that romanticizing French-style street upheaval ignores the bloodshed and tyranny that often follow.

Interestingly, when Gonzalez spoke with the New York Post, he downplayed his activism and claimed he had gone to France merely for a holiday, insisting his involvement in the protests was “very spontaneous.” “What a coincidence that is,” Glenn scoffs, reflecting a broader skepticism on the right toward activists who agitate abroad and then urge Americans to import the same unrest into a nation already strained by division under President Trump’s second administration.
